Participants in Eye tracking sessions (“Viewers”) must use a compatible device.
WE DO NOT RECORD OR TRANSMIT ANY VIDEO OR IMAGES OF VIEWERS.
All processing occurs on viewers’ computers.
In addition, since our software has to be able to understand the images it sees:
- Viewers must use a brightly lit environment to ensure the camera gives good quality pictures.
- At the current time, we cannot work with glasses*. However, contact lenses are fine
- Viewers must not have hair covering their eyes
- Viewers should not wear heavy eye make-up
*Actually some users are able to work with some glasses just fine, but it’s hard to know which ones will work. In general, if the eye area is not obstructed by the frames it may be OK. But no guarantees. Also, we check the accuracy.
