How to view Survey Answers

You have two opportunities to ask survey questions to participants – before and after viewing the visual media with eye tracking.

The answers to these questions are provided in a dedicated page, where you can browse, search, filter and tag the answers and their corresponding views. Tagging allows you to cross-reference particular survey answers to the other data tools, such as heatmaps and statistical analysis of the eye tracking data.

To view the survey answers:

  1. Open your study.
  2. Click the ‘Recordings’ tab.
  3. Click the ‘Survey results’ button:

Once the page has loaded, you will be presented with the results table view as shown below:

Use the ‘Question selection’ to display all participants’ answers to a single question or all questions. You can use all the usual properties to additionally filter participants, such as the media they viewed and any tags you have applied.

Note that tags you add here will be visible in the other data tools.
